Paragon??
That lame underproduced average MLP? Ok songs are at least listenable with bad vocals but if you let it battle against let's say Messiah "Final warning" ... huh ... I doubt it would survive.

One obscure gem to rule them all...

I don't know which PARAGON MLP you mean cause there are many with the same name. I mean the MLP without picture sleeve and with a red label. As I have already stated I don't count LPs already bootleged, shared or reissued. MESSIAH ''Final warning'' is a well known record, already bootleged....

For me the pinnacle of an obscure, unknown metalgem is Ritual- s/t.

The one that you've reviewed on Metalpage ... it's fairly average Hard Rock/Metal, no matter if there are just 6 copies known. Doesn't make it better. Sorry...

I don't know if it's obscure enough (it has the Jag Panzer connection via Conklin and many people know and it like that band) or well-produced enough but I would shoot for Satan's Host "Metal From Hell" for some of the mainstream people. Especially those who would like thrash and think power metal is silly keyboard la-la-la stuff.

Dunno if the vocals would make Priest-Maiden-Manowar-only listeners run...?
This would be one for me as well, definitely a favorite. The Masque EP too. But again it's all down to personal taste.

I Think I´ll agree on this one. It looks obscure, it sounds obscure and it is a good rare record.

Always Think of that when I listen to it.

Voltz - Knight's Fall

Great LP probably one of my top 10 ever. Hard to find, obscure music and much more complex than other metal Lps. Maybe a bit too complex for most, but Years is a great song. Very metal indeed.

When it comes to semi-obscure albums one of my favourites is:

Culprit - Guilty as charged
