Indeed. Got the opening drum fills from "Dementia" ricocheting around my head now.The Sentinel wrote:Manilla Road: The Deluge LP
Phenomenal drumming on this one.
I know a lot of people who share that same opinion as you, and I don't think it is an album 100%, indeed. However, I think it's something more than just hardcore punk album with some metal riffage thrown in.Zdan wrote:Interesting - do you consider "Crossover" to be metal? I still think of it as a hardcore punk album with some metal riffage thrown in.E5150 wrote:Hirax - Raging Violence

"Stabbed in the Back" and "Inferno" have powerful and catchy riffs imo.Heathen wrote:I find it too chaotic, lacking direction. the wocal lines and music do not fit well together. Not enough energy for thrash, not catchy enough for power. some good riffs and leads, but as a whole this is less than sum of its parts.Zdan wrote:Really? Weird - most people that are into thrash seem to like them. Granted to me Nasty Savage never played pure thrash metal. They were closest to that on "Penetration Point" but before that it was some weird power/thrash mix.Heathen wrote:Nasty Savage - Indulgence
I am giving it another try, but I do find their brand or thrash almost unlistenable.
