Some folks don't know they're boots, and others know but don't care, they want it anyway.

That is very true. I have bought a few bootlegs because I really wanted the music for instance the Pagan Altar Vol 1 and also the Legend lp. Pagan Altar didn't have anything out so I couldn't pass it up and as for the Legend, well I'm not paying $500+ for the original and the band cancelled the cd with Rockadrome so I bought the boot off someone I trusted. It's a touchy subject for most people. If you can't find it or it's not available what do you do?

Depends. Some collectors want to own the original copy, which is perfectly understandable.

As for me, I have bought bootlegs of some rare stuff, when I had no other option, or because I was simply curious about the music and not willing to spend 50Euros+ for a record I was not sure I would like.

Speaking of Legend - yes I would like to spare the $999 to buy the original copy that rockadrome has for sale, unfortunately I need these money to buy food, pay the rent and other essentials. So, my only other option is bootleg. Since I know that a record store here in Athens has the bootleg CD for 15Euros, I will get one of those, especially since the store owner was kind enough to let me check the sound quality, when he played it for me after I asked him.

I think that the picLp is a bootleg and it was released on 2004

Yeah, I actually have that boot also, it's pretty horrible sounding. Got it in a trade with someone a couple of years ago.

If you guys go through with it, I'll do the same.

Hahaha...

He replied, and actually, he wasn't rude at all!

He said he was aware that this was a bootleg of unknown origins and that he accidentally labeled the band as death/black metal.

So far, nothing changed in the description.

Uh, isn't this about twice as much as it usually sells for? Also not sure I'd want to buy 'promo' items from this seller

I don't own it but I've had a look at the original sleeve before and it does say it's a promo for an upcoming album (that never got released as far as I know..)

Price seems a bit steep too, yeah...

Yes they all have this.

I think the price isn't that crazy
The price had dropped for a while since some copies had been found But I think they are long gone andthe price is starting to rise again. I would have guessed 150-175.

I know it's been asked before, but John do you know anything at all about why the band never released anything else, or if more tracks for an album were actually recorded?

Ah, didn't know they were all technically promos.
Last 2-3 I've seen in recent years were in the $75-100 range, so $200 caught me by surprise. Seems demand does stay pretty high for copies, though only 2 bidders went above $110.
