New wave of Serbian Metal?

I couldn't resist to post this. This will certainly sound familiar to some people around here.
Could this be whole new genre?

Dude, Pero Defformero are a real band and has been around since 1993. They are quite popular in Bosnia, and there have been other opportunistic pop-folk/chalga singers exploiting the Hard Rock/metal territory recently. Apparently metal music is getting popular again to the point being worth exploring by those dudes.MEXDefenderOfSteel wrote:no way, a style now?!stormspell wrote:Yeah, this style is called Turbo-folk and is getting quite popular.
if its getting popular, who knows, maybe Nuclear Ass recs. will start releasing that turbo-dumb thing

Hehe, Balkanians predominantly feel sth here.
Indeed it's a parody on Turbo folk scene. Hence the singers outfit.
Iordan, have you checked other "songs"? Lyrics are hillarious, too.
And I almost died laughing reading comments (in Serbian, of course).
MEXDefSteel: "Puta" in the context of this song means way/ path, etc. but in a grammar form english doesn't have and I cannot really explain. German does have it but I forgot how it is properly named. Boštjan? "Puta" can also mean a time as in "many times" "a few times", etc. in Serbian.

I checked some, funny stuff, yeah, "Kauboj iz Bosne" and "Ferrari" have been my favorite so far. It is obviously a chalga tongue-in-cheek parody, but the singer looks quite genuinely authentic.

This obviously isn't going to be making my playlists any time soon, but it wasn't terrible.
