Well, I don't know if any of you have info of Chilean metal scene or some Chilean metal bands, so I created this topic to talk about your favorite Chilean bands, records, etc.

sadly i dont know any bands/releases from chile. I'd be glad to know more about the scene though...

For me, the first Dorso album "Bajo una luna cámbrica". Some of the best Metal ever.

Got to hear that Dorso album recently & liked it a lot. Strange band. The first Chileans I heard, & still the best, were Pentagram. "The Malefice" & "Fatal Prediction" are all-time thrash classics for me. Atomic Aggressor & Sadism were good too.

I think Torturer is from Chile. I heard a track of their first album and it crushed!!! Apart from this, I only have one Bewitched album and that one is not my cup of tea at all...

Well, I firstly recommend you one of the cult 80's bands from Chile : PENTAGRAM. Actually a classic death/thrash metal band on international underground. Here is their MySpace: www.myspace.com/pentagramtribute

They have an EP entitled "The Cult Of Disease", released by the german label IRON KODEX (on LP and CD). They have an upcoming full-lenght too.

In Heavy Metal there is CHRONOS (amazing stuff, I've uploaded it to Poisonoise), FEEDBACK, PANZER, TURBO, and the ones uploaded in the ROCK DURO Y PESADO compilation. Also the demos from Massacre (the unreleased ones) are more into the vein of Mercyful Fate. Also you can check out ENIGMA (I like their demos more than the album, anyway they are more technical) and VASTATOR. And finally, I'd totally recommend you INQUISICIÓN, I have the demo and the first two albums and are great!!!

It seems that there's no reissue of this album (cause I want it too), so I'll upload it, along with a Dorso bootleg with amazing sound from 1990.

About my favorite chilean band, PENTAGRAM!!!!!, those two demos are simply amazing and Chronos on "Medieval Tales" ('cause nowadays is pure crap).

As Chafe said, INQUISICION is a great heavy/speed/power metal band! I recommend you the first two releases, Steel Vengeance and Black Leather From Hell.
Also you can check BATTLERAGE, a Heavy Metal band in the vein of MANOWAR, MAJESTY and MANILLA ROAD. Very epic sound! Here is their MySpace :
