Abhorer and Exterminator? It is Black Death Metal, isn't it?

Well, Poison from Germany come to my mind, but I think everyone should know them already. There is a fan site in the net with all their demos and the MLP for download, forget where it is. I think the MLP is the only thing worth listening. "Bestial Death" has some cool songs like "Witchfinde" or "Satan's Command", but the sound ... well, think of Mayhem's "Pure Fucking Armageddon" and you have the imagination.

Magnus from Poland are also a great band to check out. Think of Massacra, Sarcofago ... being mixed together. I only know the MySpace site, the records (mostly cassettes I think) are really hard to get but I'm sure it's worth it. Soon there will be a Compilation CD out!

BLACKFIRE from Malaysia is what I'd call Black/Thrash. Or in another genre, and esaier to get, AURA NOIR from Norway and NOCTURNAL from Germany, although I tend to get away more and more from these bands ripping-off DESTRUCTION and SODOM for the sake of being old-school since it ends most often in a borefest IMO.

I forgot czech's oldest Metal pioneers TÖRR. Their first three albums Armageddon, Institut Klinicke Smrti, Chcipny O Kus Dal and the Demo collection Kladivo Na Carodejnice are their best works so far. The music up to Armageddon is a bit more Speed Thrash in the vein of Venom, while the followed two albums are more brutal, faster and twisted.
The newer stuff is ok, still some great songs but nothing compared to the old stuff.
On their homepage are some samples but they are not really good. The best for me is still the whole Institut... LP. Very worth getting, and not so expensive too (got mine with poster and ex condition for 20€).

I thought if he knows Abhorer then he might know Impiety as well...

For Black/Death, check out Grabschänder (Ger) - Masturbation of the Undead Demo, if you see it for cheap money or trade (you most likely will), get it!!

Hömm... I'd vote for TORMENTOR (Hun) and the godly "Anno Domini", should be labelled as black/thrash I guess? Considering the Kreatory sound. Or why not swedish OBSCURITY and MEFISTO? Even VIRGIN SIN (their 7"EP)? Talking about modern bands the whole Aussie continent seem to be full of black/thrash, I'd recommend RAZOR OF OCCAM and GOSPEL OF THE HORNS to start with. Early DESTROYER 666 perhaps should be mentioned.

Ah, maybe these bands are already known if you listen to stuff like REENCARNACION, hehe.

Thou shalt not download

I listened to it once. For me only the song "Tormentor I" was very good, the others did not appeal to me much which was very disappointing. I think I should take a second or third listen.

I just forgot GOATVOMIT from Hellas! They play awesome Black Death, riffing very similar to Sarcofago, feeling like Beherit's Demos/The Oath and Blasphemy. Very evil! The demo was reissued on a split with KRATORNAS on Witchhammer Prod. in 2003 limited to 500. I especially like "Goat of Death / Carnal Blasphemy" with some organs sometimes and a choir in the end, with the guys vomiting and spell some shit. Very funny! I don't know if it is sold out yet, but I recommend it!
A EP was released on NWN! Prod. but I don't know it since it was sold out very fast.

You're the first one I've heard not liking that record! Well, well, I do respect other peoples' taste. But a song like "Elizabeth Bathory" is hard to argue with! Take a couple of listens more and enjoy the madness of late-80's Buda-Pest...

This band is great. They have a 7", and 2 demos (and an unreleased unmastered 7" circulating as mp3s). I can upload any of that stuff if anyone wants. Some of my favorite "underground" death stuff ever.

There arw two problems here. First of all, the list is endless of great Death/Black/Thrash band and second, You should NOT even think of downloading. The tips i'll give you now will not fill its full effect if you download it, i promise. Buy the LPs !!

Thrash; Morbid Saint, Inquisition (anxious death LP and Forever under demo), the Mefisto demos (or the complication LP).

Black; Mortuary Drape (if not the best band ever, maybe ?), Reencarnacion (that you mentioned), Mystefier, swedish Damnation ( the most underrated band in the last 17 years.

Death; Procreation (canada ross bay cult), Incubus (florida),

This one is great, far better than the christian one that receives praises everywhere but is just common IMO.
