One of the first LP's I brought and one of the only thrashy ones I'll keep. After all its the only release with a SIDE ICKY and a SIDE POOEY!

The A side is only killer. I love the drum patterns.

I've got "Sicker Than I Thought" uploaded for anyone that wants to hear it.

Just give me a PM and I'll send you the link.

This album is so good I have two copies (for some reason :? )

Didn't Kenny BloodOfChrist recently mention that he sees the guitarist from time to time around his neighborhood..?
Why are a wise man & a wise guy opposites?

That's correct.

I recall the same thing being said.

Fantastic pictures. I now love E-X-E even more. It's not often you see that kind of an image from old US Speed/Thrash bands, is it?

Another aspect of SBM's greatness is the production, which I've always thought to be pretty fucking brutal and unique. I'm a sucker for them wall-of-sound guitars. So "Slaughter Disorder" is kind of a rip-off of Slayer's "Hell Awaits" but who cares? They did it so much better than all the New Ren./Wild Rags-tossers imo.

What about demos then? Has anyone even heard about earlier recordings existing? What about earlier bands featuring the main songwriters?

At least ask for the demos if they exist! Or live stuff and videos. Hungry for everything.

I'd really be interested in anything else they did. Stricken was, and is a true classic. Sicker was a generic thrash album. Not bad, but nothing special. I thought I heard that they had a different name before the albums. Maybe this is why we can't find the demos.

"Stricken By Might" was in the baragain bin at the record shop I used to go to. I passed over it 100s of times before finally deciding to purchase it. Good, solid Metal LP in my opinion and well worth the $2 or whatever I paid. I consider this LP underrated too.
