What criteria do you use? Items that have a top sentimental value for you personally or items that have a big monetary/wanted by countless people value?

Edit: by the way, post pictures people! Those are a lot more interesting than a plain text list!

Yes, the ones that have a sentimental value and are hard to find. Pictures are indeed strongly encouraged...

I think it is the Flames Of Hell LP. I had this release since early 90es on tape (5th generation copy or something like that), but needed 9 years to hunt the LP down. And even this was by accident, and I only needed to trade my first pressing Apocalyptic Raids LP (with red lettering and lyric sheet) for it. Thanks to a friend who himself got it from someone out of the German vinyl mafia who disliked the LP as it was not Power Metal and therefore traded it basically for free. What an idiot.

And boy, there I saw the first time the beautiful cover and could finally listen to the LP without the crappy distortions on the first two songs of the tape-copy.

my US metal LPs: rellik heathens rage medieval steel brocas helm-black death, ion britton, wyzard, hammeron, salems wych, graven image-people in hell want ice water, lord ryur..etc etc..
But i also love my European rarities: danger zone, berserks, lust (fr),abraxas, adramelch, exodo (sp),leader, jewel, white night (bel)...mp3s are good..but will NEVER replace the kick i used to get out of collecting rare records by trading and never paying dealer prices..that was all the fun..gone now..never mind...it made for a good past time.
