I just got my copy of the 2CD deluxe digibook version in the mail today, and I can say it was worth every penny. It's great to finally see these demos get the treatment they deserve after years of countless bootlegs. The packaging is amazing, and the sound quality of the demos is great, but still raw in that endearing Hellhammer way. I'm glad they didn't overly polish things with the remastering. Highly recommended!

I've just put the needle on the first LP, the Death Fiend demo.
Fucking hell, still one of my favourite bands!
Best release of 2008! 8)

I hate myself because I was poorer then an Ethiopian beggar when it was released. So I couldn´t afford the LP-version before it was entirely sold out.

I don't know who the dealers were but there were still two people selling this at Keep it true, one for 27€ and one for 28€. Maybe someone knows who they were, they were located in the row the furthest away from the stage.

Finally broke down and bought the 2cd deluxe ed. Nice package, great sound, no complaints!
Vinyl-wise I'm content with the old boots I have

Just out of curiousity, which Belgian guy stocks 10 copies of this?

Only the bigger retailers are sold out. I've seen copies for sale earlier this week on some mail orders.

I got the deluxe double CD from Action Records in Preston. An amazing package. Only quibble I have is that the Triumph / Death Fiend tracks sound sped up - the introductory "Toccata & Fugue in D minor" is in E minor.

Same here. Grabbed it last weekend. The way you FINALLY get to read the lyrics, get the best possible sound, some background info... it's almost pornographic in nature. I'm still on the fence weather this has made them loose some of its magic & mystery or not? Opinions?

And btw, didn't Tom claim he had destroyed the masters long ago? Ol' Warrior, always the drama queen

I believe they polished some of the bootleg releases for use as "masters" for D.E.
