Logos
The real question here is: collectively, how many times have the members of this board recreated the Slayer and Iron Maiden logos on jackets, paper, walls, etc. in their lives? I think the total would have to be in the millions (maybe for some individual posters alone!).
Just like Dan this subject brings my mind to a standstill. My favorite logos are in the thousands.

Black signs on my monitor, great bitching and fake words, Avenger is here, the craziest "modest" of all modsss...FTOU!!
A great topic!!
I like the classic Celtic Frost logo a lot especially in orange against black like it is on the Morbid Tales cover.
The Witch Cross logo on the "Are You There" single..why did they get rid of this logo?!
I have to agree with Dan on the Voivod logo even though I am not a big fan.
Other logos of note:
Gorement
Moonblood
Treblinka
Saint Vitus
Satanicum Tenebrae(primitive, evil and abstract all in one)
Kim Sixx
Funeral Nation(with the large stretched out inverted cross making the "T" in nation)
Morbid
I know there are more that I am forgetting but that is it for now.

Can't believe that no one has mentioned the Motorhead logo, it instantly informed you that this was a bad ass racket from the wrong side of the tracks.
Some of my personal favourites from a design perspective include Evil, Anvil, The Rods, and the old W.A.S.P. logo which incorporated the circular saw blade.
In pure design, (not musical), terms, the Angel logo was a corker, reading the same right way up or upside down, very clever.
Not clever, but effective nonetheless was the Dwarves skull & crossed penises "pirate" logo, i've seen that tattooed on people!
