One I really like that hasn't been mentioned yet is Bernadette Mooney from WAR MACHINE- great haunting vocals on their 'unknown soldier' album.
The lady who sang on SATANIC RITES 'which way the wind blows' was also pretty good, although musically the album was kinda weak IMO (can't remember her name right now)

What? Musically weak? That album rocks!nightsblood wrote:One I really like that hasn't been mentioned yet is Bernadette Mooney from WAR MACHINE- great haunting vocals on their 'unknown soldier' album.

I believe her name is Deborah Webster.

Sorry, that album just never did anything for me. It wasn't bad, but very lightweight material that lacked any hooks. Cool cover art and a decent singer though.Black Axe wrote:What? Musically weak? Lacking hooks? It has hooks in every nook and cranny.nightsblood wrote:Sorry, that album just never did anything for me. It wasn't bad, but very lightweight material that lacked any hooks. Cool cover art and a decent singer though.
Sadly, I've never heard "No Use Crying". Anyone happen to know if that's any good?

Great topic.
My top three:
Kuniko Morikawa (Rajas) <---- Best singer ever
Jutta Weinhold (Zed Yago)
Nicole Lee (Znowhite)
There's probably a ton of great Japanese ladies that could make my list but I'm too ignorant of metal from that country to know what's what. Maybe I should take the night flight to Tokyo.
