Here is one more german local Compi:
https://www.discogs.com/de/Various-Suna ... se/2782751

The Argus track is taken from their rare 7" (same label), the Stingway track is exclusive (they also had a rare great 7" on that Munich based label). These 2 bands belong to the Heavy section. The rest is AOR (Czanes O.B. Laconic), Rock (In The Distance), Pop-Rock or worse.

And another obscure one that I wasn't aware off until recently:
https://www.discogs.com/de/Various-Ther ... se/4765108

Features some Lemming Project trax when they still played extreme demo days Death/Thrash. Accio Directa is the spanish Thrash band who released an album the next year but on this Split they do sound alot better. The other bands are Hardcore bands.

This one prohably does not fit due to the massive Hardcore overload but at least the Wrecking Crew trax are pretty much more Thrash (Metal) than Hardcore. The other bands belong to the "better" Hardcore bands too as they are quite more thrashy and less punky. And the live sound is great either.

Cheers, the 1st one was on my radar since before. I might pick it up later. The other 2 are now on the "to check out" list.

I remember seeing them at quite a few local thrash shows back in the day. No one seemed to know the difference.

I missed that one. At least the pics in the auction are good enough for the Compilopedia - now all I need is a rough rip of it. Anyone has it?

Does anyone have a master track list for the downloadable comps that have the best songs from these comps? I just moved to a new city and don't have my records and turntable or my laptop so I'd like to just look up the individual songs on YouTube and make a playlist for at work. Sorry if this sounds corny haha

Here's another utterly obscure local Compi from Germany featuring 4 underground bands: Mortify (Thrash/Death), Charterflug Tschad (Funk/Modern Metal :( ), Noisefilter (Death Metal), Metamorphosis (Death Metal).

"Vertrauen sie uns wir wissen was tun" Split 12"EP 1992
Image

The 3 extreme bands are quite good, typical underground style Death Metal or in case of Mortify "deathy" Thrash Metal.
I've never seen this before.

---------------------------------------------------

Furthermore this one (as obscure as the one above)

"Der Heidenheimer Rock Sampler" LP 1991
https://www.musik-sammler.de/media/692169/

Several trax of each band, except of Köck Spezial all Metal or Metal connected. The Nightmare trax are their complete demo. The LP includes even lotsa info material/inserts. Highly recommended obscurity for German Metal collectors ...

-------------------------------------------------------

Another local sampler:

"Blizz IIX" LP 1987
https://www.musik-sammler.de/media/999848/

featuring 3 unreleased Canadyan trax and one song each of G.B. Force, Iron Horse and Breaker (from Paderborn, bonecrushing shit!)

One more obscure local german Compilatione:
C.B.R. - The Beast 7"EP 1987
https://www.discogs.com/de/Various-The- ... se/4471222

featuring Lazy Wizzard/Burning Ambition/Gnadenlos (Merciless) & Jesters Palace.
The ladder is Prog Rock and the other 3 are Metal.

Cheers for another round of tips, they get continuously added to the watch-list. That last bunch looked reeeaally interesting - never heard of those German LPs before. Maybe ""Vertrauen sie..." might be too Death Metal for the list but the other 2 went straight on my personal want-list.

The "Dream Sequence" Double LP of 1983

https://www.discogs.com/Various-Dream-S ... se/2328086

features E.S.P., Gypsy and Silent Night tracks. (not sure if there is anyother NWOBHM/Hard-Rock tracks ,since i don't have it)...

In the Compilopedia only the Dream Sequence of 1986 is featured...
