the future of HELL ????

Post by EzraCobb »

I loved HELL's first official full length! the vocals were great as well as the music and the production/mix - just a perfect album.. Also I really enjoyed the bonus disc with the original demo versions of the songs - the perfect package.

Hell still has more in there back catalogue I assume ( I never really hunted there demos - other than the bonus disc which introduced me to them ) ... & they could do the same thing with hopefully the same line up?

I cant find any new news on HELL? Is there plans for them to return with the same lineup and release another master piece? I sure hope so

There was a recent audio interview with Bower and he said that the second album will be new material.

They're supposed to do another album with the same lineup. From what I've heard it will be about 50/50 freshly written material and old demo material rerecorded as there are several great songs from the 80's that weren't used on Human Remains.

I'd love another album 'cause the present one is pretty great. I'm not all happy with the sound on the drums, and there are some other minor pickings, but all in all it's one of the best new records of the last few years.

"Masterpiece" is quite the embellishment but I am still happy that the band kept their word and put out the demo tracks with the CD.

Well Human Remains is one of my fave albums ever, that might already go without saying...
From the old demo tracks they have already played Land of the Living Dead, Deliver Us From Evil and The Disposer Supreme live so those 3 will be on the next album for sure. (And damn did the last one mentioned blow my mind!!!)
There used to be talk about doing RAT's Harbinger of Death (/Intense is the Sense of Doom) but I doubt that'll happen. Depths of Despair will not be played, that was the first thing I asked when I met Kev in 2011.
New material sounded great as well, 2 new songs were played in February.

Bollocks!! I've seen Hell 10 times and never actually caught that one. I'd LOVE to hear that live.

One of their catchiest songs and I relate to the lyrics a lot. I think it will take the new album released before they will play songs from it regularly... The Disposer Supreme in Feb was a miracle! If I'm not mistaken, you where there too, Dark Stranger?
Speaking of their second album to come, I can't even imagine how it'll feel to get it in my hands... :P
