I will continue to support Stormspell regardless of the ridiculous USPS prices.

Glad to see that you are moving back to Europe though.

I must say I was positively surprised by (Deadly) Assassin. The sample tracke posted by Stormspell before was nothing special, but still something made buy this CD. And what with awesome song like "Metal Kinghts" or "Soldiers of the Lord" I can`t regret it at all. I could do without the cover songs though.
"Awesome" is a relative term obviously. People who do not like the feeling of the 80`s demos with their rather meagre production will pretty sure not like this release either.

Yeah, this is truly the epitome of a home-made demo, recorded during rehearsals on a 4-track machine. What survived was a beaten up N-th generation copy of the original "master" cassette tape... still better than nothing, and the youthful zest and enthusiasm makes it up somewhat, definitely worth for 80s arcane metal enthusiasts.

I know this aint the right place for recommendations but I'd die for a Blind Assassin CD release on Stormspell (3 songs, 3 hits). :D

Do you have contact information for whoever holds the rights?

If not, posting this is a waste of time...

The bassplayer is still active on youtube.

I'll soon send him a message and ask for it.

Throwing in my vote for one of Stormspell's best so far as well. There's a really obscure vibe on the Assassin recordings that really drew me in. Great stuff.

A tune from an upcoming RWH volume - the mighty STRYCTNYNE from New York city.

I have a question for you, apart from the obvious Manowar influence, what else would you compare it to?

There's something about the track that reminds me a little of Warlord for whatever reason.
I cannot, I shall not, I will not obey.

Yeah, that looks great. I must pick up a few of the latest releases at KIT.

Chicago must have been a great place for gigs. Some amazing bands came from that city.
