Chyld-Lite the Nite/Ye Morlok 7" "reissue"

Post by Kostello »

Chyld hailed from Canada and the "Lite the Nite/Ye Morlok" 7"single was their only release.

Having worked with the band, we can announce that ALL the original, remaining copies of the single will be available soon with a sleeve (never with one back in the day) along with a CD with live and unreleased songs from the band with a new, proper mastering.

If that wasn't enough, this will be accompanied by liner notes, lyrics and a bio of the band. Maybe some more surprises as well, let's keep some mystery, right?

Until then, you can read the interview we did with the band in the first issue of Steel for an Age

Kind of funny, Do you kown how many 45's (old) they still have.

I received an email from the band (after my ebay auction) telling me they had none and they had sold them all years ago...

This release will be done with the band's cooperation. This is probably why they told you they have none left, all the singles that will be provided are the old (original) ones.

After some delays, we are proud to announce that this will be available this weekend at Up the Hammers Festival.

As stated before, ALL remaining (500) copies of the original, sleeveless 1986 pressing will be available with a vintage-looking, white sleeve and a CD with 9 live songs, "Tell me a Lie" (from the 1986 sessions), multimedia part with the same songs on video and 8-page booklet with lyrics, photos and liner notes...

The first 100 copies will be on a black sleeve and will include a pin made by the band at the time...
