Great LP!! The cheapest copy I've seen was sold for +/- 30€ and it was on ebay. One of my top-wantWarepire wrote:Great song.Cochino wrote:That was pretty good. I hope a rip surfaces eventuallychatzial wrote:

For such a rare LP it seems to hit eBay rather often, and not end too bloody either. A rip will probably happen soon.

Much earlier than '78 - '79, but a heavy number nonetheless.

Never attribute to malice, that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
WARPIG from Canada released their only album back in 1970. DEEP PURPLE meets BLACK SABBATH, and way ahead of its time, if you ask me.

Some Australian Doom for you, from 1972. This is a live-in-the-studio version, but the LP version is SO much Heavier: MASTERS APPRENTICE.

Sorcery (not the Chicago Till death do us part band!!) did all the music on the Stuntrock film. This is 1978 by the way:

I always thought that was a charming album. It has some pretty "80s" moves too.malegys wrote:Sorcery (not the Chicago Till death do us part band!!) did all the music on the Stuntrock film. This is 1978 by the way:

I like that Master's Apprentices track too, but I always find myself slightly bored when I listen to any of their albums. Some tracks are pretty weak IMO, though other tracks are really good.
Never heard Pantherman before, or even heard OF it. Interesting stuff.

Love me like a Zebra....what does that mean, I don't think I want to know.
Pantherman...I'll show you my claws

I used to come across copies of it at bootfairs here in the 90s, but they have TOTALLY disappeared now. There's a copy of it ebay.be (fucked sleeve too) & the starting price is 59€!!!

And I thought this was a good contestant:

But it's probably too late (1968) and soft compared to the previous one...
PS. The last posts seem off topic (since the recommendations are much earlier than 1978-79). Maybe a mod should seperate the topic and make a new one about late 60s/early 70's metal or something...
