LethylSteel wrote:I actually do enjoy French Metal alot. Blaspheme's 2nd and Excess debut are amoungf my favorite albums, but the ones posted are more or less common stuff that everybody has, except of maybe Anthracite and Auroch.
I think that LUST (original) and EXCESS (Fatal touch) are not common and not everybody has them, you are exaggerating a bit.
LethylSteel wrote:Auroch is quite melodic and hardrockin' (but not bad) while Anthracite is nothing but average Heavy Metal and the fact that only 25 copies (or so) are known doesn't make it better.
I must agree with you on that. I also don't find the Anthracite to be anything special. If there were 2,500 copies printed instead of 25 copies, nobody would search for it.
LethylSteel wrote:The Fine LP on the other hand you can get for 9,99 $ while it deserves a much higher price for the quality that this album delivers!
I also think that the Fine LP is musically very good.

No doubt about it, but they also had a 7" that I purchased a few months ago for 4 E. I've never seen that thing before. Perhaps they didn't even release it officially or only for promotion purposes. Absolutely obscure vinyl.

It really bothers me when I see this Melodic Metal gem not selling for only 9,99 $!
I remember in pre-ebay/internet times it was prices around 50/60 DM!

no wonder man, only around 10 copies exist of this 7" ! i wrote to the vocalist some years ago ... he showed me a pic of his beat up copy and told me that....it got some ass long german text on frontcover . is it any better than the demo? incredibly rare find though, cheers!

I'm basing my opinion on what I have heard. I thought that was clearly stated. I'm not about to get into another genre definition argument. I also used the term "metallic" rather then "Metal" to avoid such a situation. In my opinion crappy keyboard laden Hard Rock and AOR isn't Metal but I can't expect everyone to understand that I suppose.

Some might say it's easy to create better songs than on the demo but Endless Pain do prove everyone wrong!
Low budget Death/Thrash with silly songs. I got this copy from a friend of the band who sold his copy at ebay but it looked mint. I thought right after I got my copy there was another copy at ebay for sale.

OK,I see :D

I like Europe and Silver Mountain as much as Heavy Load or Gotham City.
I don't think metalic one is superior to hardrockin' one or the opposite case.

And you have your own taste,of course. You're right :D
