I reckon we have to mention some of our favorite ones, not just the songs that describe Armageddon/The Apocalypse? I'm asking this coz I made a quick search on M-A and I got 301 tracks named Armageddon, obviously not an uncommon theme in metal circles.
BTW, why does the thread title say top-5 and we have to mention only 3 tracks?

Indeed. It's hard to think of 'em all if it's just a one off song by a band not usually in the apocalyptic mood.ION BRITTON wrote:Now that I'm thinking of it, you should have asked for a top-10. So many killer apocalyptic tracks...
Here's my top 3 to begin with:
Reactor - Meltdown (close enough)
Saracen - Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Pagan Altar - Armageddon
