I also would like this one on vinyl. Maybe a label will eventually get round to re-releasing it

As big as BG is, you'd think all of their stuff would have seen vinyl reissues by now. Curious how they haven't, when there have been like 900 different CD releases

I think most fans of those so called Power Metal groups, especially the European, are not so keen on vinyl format compared to the more traditional metal (or doom metal) followers.

But judging by the ever-increasing ebay prices of all of their albums, I think a 1-2000 copy pressing would fly off the shelves. I think a lot of people are just put off by the rarity/pricing. I don't like SFB enough to pay $100 for an orig, but would buy a $20 reissue in a heartbeat. I will pay the price as necessary for the debut though, but I always forget to look for it when I have money burning a hole in my pocket.

I love the debut as well. Okay, BLIND G. might not be the best exampel, since they were more of a speed metal band in the beginning, unlike most other Power Metal acts who started later on. Take for example KAMELOT. I think their CDs didn't sell that badly, but no vinyl version for their early (and only good) albums. And if there is on available, like for the later RAGE or GRAVE DIGGER albums, then they turn out to be almost non-seller.

I understand what you mean. Many flower metal fans have never even seen a turntable. Case in point:

But I think Blind Guardian has much more cross-generational appeal, and would easily sell.

I've seen this a lot at the last record fairs.
Is it worth spending some bucks on it?

The "Son of Odin" is much better.
But as far as "Lethal poison", for a low price i suggest that you buy it. It has a few very good songs (but also a few below average).

I have Lethal Potion as a cd but it's the Sovereign Remedy version. The Idol is also a pretty good lp. Mindcreeper isn't suppose to be that good. The new one "All Hollows Eve" sounds awesome, still waiting on that one to arrive in the mail.

Yea, intergalactic post is not cheap these days. Especially with the rising cost of Deuterium.
