I bought that Dark Quarterer cd since it seems to be the only cd release of the the album and not a long time ago I found a thread about it on here where everyone complained about every aspect of that certain cd.

Oh god, well I'll see it by myself, I'm not very picky but if it's totally half-assed release where even tracks are listed wrong I will get mad. :D
I still don't believe it.

Let's see scans of the signed contracts.

Then I'll believe.

This label is way too shitty and dubious.

Well, back in the day when I used to sell on eGay I sold an EQUIMANTHORN CD to a guy who turned to be Proscriptor himself. He told me they had a deal with Unisound, but the guy just kept making new pressings with random artworks (not authorized by the band) etc. so in the end the contract got breached on so many levels, it is really a semantics whether this is legit release or not anymore.

I believe this is the case with the majority of Unisound's releases.

So, sign a "semi-legal" contract and then void it and shit on the bands several times over.

That's good business practice.

Has someone noticed that Cult Metal Classics cds have matrix no. "band name - album name" ??? I got 3 their cds and all 3 are like that?!? What the hell!
What that mean... their cds are made by the same manufacturer that made boots or what?

Well, they are a Greek label...

I don't have any CMC CDs to compare, but it is probablt that they are made in the same plant.

I've checked some and it's album title - Cult Metal - Catalog Number.
For example OVERDOSE - Tight Action :
Tight Action Cult Metal 040

An a Apocalypse sidenote - does anyone know how to tell the bootleg edition of "Faithless" apart from the real CD pressings?

I placed a bid on Faithless, but didn't make it.
I'd like to know as well what's the difference between the original and the bootleg. :)

As I posted in the other thread, the original has the silver part of the matrix going further in towards the inner ring of the disc. Similar to Apocalypse debut on Out of Tune, Stone 89 on Megamania, etc. Bootleg has a more normal matrix. At least all the copies that used to turn up looked that way.

I don't own the "Faithless" CD because I don't like it but this does make sense. The Matrix of original CD's are never perfectly centered on the center ring. This is also another giveaway on, for example, the Target boot that everyone not in the "know" claims is identical to an original.

I'm probably not explaining this well. I mean the silver "matrix" covers most of the plastic inner ring, kind of like this:

Except it doesn't go in quite as far. The bootleg, well look at the pictures you'll see it looks "normal"
