ASSAILANT (New York) signs with Steel Legacy

Post by LuciferSteele »

this is going to be one of our first 2011 releases
Assailant from New York did a couple of demos in the mid 80s. Steel Legacy will bring you the 5 track demo also known as First Offense.
it took 3 months to get the remastering done and the result is surprising. this one is for fans of classic U.S. power, it has some epic touches and i could bring Liege Lord (freedom's rise era) as a comparison

Cd and Vinyl edition, stay tuned
FINAL AXE
TYRANT
CROSS
ZIONS ABYSS
STEEL PROPHET
SALEM SPADE
KINGS RANSOM
and the story continues...

cd and vinyl will contain the same 5 tracks. the band didn't want to include any other songs because of inferior quality. maybe when the time is right they will remaster the rest of the tracks available and there will be a second Assailant release

Finally of the all new releases announced by Steel Legacy there's one that I'm interested in.

And what a kick ass demo this is.

These are an expensive few months. Another awesome release coming up.
And here I was planning to cut down on buying new stuff.

Keep it all in one place please.

I'll have the two threads merged.

Really looking forward to this one. Too bad the band didn't want to include all material they have.

Thumbs up for this demo release. Really a crushing storm of Power Metal that knows no boundaries. The epos "In The Dark Of The Night" is worth the money alone. What a blast!

Musically it has moments of sheer brilliance, however the vocals are not in the same league with the music and somehow ruin it for me. Could have been really killer with a better voice.
