A quick review of last night

CONVIXION
Played fast and did a cover of I’m Alive from CIRITH UNGOL which was a nice surprise.

PROCESSION
Played slower and had Messiah Marcolin sing the CANDLEMASS song Solitude. Messiah is way better front man than Robert Lowe will ever be.

BROCAS HELM
This is when the fun started!

Really loved the vocals of Procession btw... Cool to see Messiah also.
Brocas Helm was really cool even if there was mistakes a plenty and a somewhat tired voice - Jack Hays proved to be one of the most intense drummers there are, and played perfectly all through. Why is he's kept so low in the mix on their records? Already looking forward to KIT!

I was really disappointed I couldn't make it to the Helsinki gig, tried to get a lift for days but no, and when you've no money left spending 50e on the train there and back is out of the question. Last time I saw Brocas Helm was in 2005 in London, there were too many bands that evening though and I got so drunk hah. Seeing the clip posted I feel a little less disappointed about not making it, their playing is pretty awful to be honest :/

The guys in Brocas Helm played pretty well in Oslo on saturday, though there were absolutley some mistakes. There were some problems with the sound on stage in their defense.

And they were nowhere near "awful"
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.
