Avenger, as far as I recall you wanted to buy a CD from me and after some offers I didn't sell it in the end? If that stands for "impossible to deal with" than fine by me.
However let me set a few things straight: I'm not a CD collector. I own some CD's who are high on want lists. I don't really care for trading them against other CD's as, like I said, I'm not a CD collector. And I don't really care for selling them because I have a wellpaid job and can fund my musical passion without having to sell pieces of my collection. I also tend to hold on to things, even if I don't like them 100%, so that's makes it even harder to get me to sell anything.
Last year a friend persuaded me to sell a few dozen tapes to one of his friends. Old demotapes which I had spare copies of, I got a good price for them. But nearly one year, and many mails later, I am still waiting on the last part of the payment. All this doesn't encourage me to sell more of my collection.
I do tend to reply late, especially if I'm not 100% interested in the deal. I'm a nice guy. Too nice to say 'Not interested' sometimes. I have been learning that sometimes this is what I should do. So if you found it frustrating to deal with me in the past I apologize, I should and will be more upfront. However also I'd like to point out this happened a handfull of times. I have dealt with hundreds of people in the last decade and a half and I'm sure all but those handfull will agree that deals went without any hassle.
Helstar is right though, the list is a bit outdated. I managed to secure a few items from my wantlist, including that Decapitated EP Nausea offered me. The price is right though, so I encourage someone else to pick up that EP from him.
And if any of you CD collectors has an original Yellow goat LP for me I'll be most glad to trade you Sixty nine, Dark, Ghost, or whatever floats your boat.

Long story short. The friend of a friend lives at the other side of the world. My friend had to send a big package with records to him. I went to my friend, dropped off my box of tapes with him, and he would package them together. He thought I already had received the payment, I thought he'd wait with sending the package 'till I gave the green light. Simple misunderstanding.
I'll get my money in the end, already have 80% of it, because the guy is not a rip-off. Just slow on coming through with payment. I'm sure many of you know him (he's not on the forum though) so if he'd not pay I'd just spread his name. A reputation is worth more than any demotape.
I'll get my money in the end, already have 80% of it, because the guy is not a rip-off. Just slow on coming through with payment. I'm sure many of you know him (he's not on the forum though) so if he'd not pay I'd just spread his name. A reputation is worth more than any demotape.
