There is absolutely no way you can consider selling it, right?

It's still on the want list, but I'll try to get it without trading the CDs from my collection.

XENTRIX - Ghostbusters CD ... was it really released with the Original banned artwork?

I know the Vinyl 12" is available with 2 different covers (1st edition with the White Ghost from Ghostbusters showing his middle finger / 2nd edition with this weird Ghostbuster dude) but never heard about the CD ...

The CD does exist, but in how much of a ridiculously small quantity is up for debate. I have run into only two people that have ever had a copy in their possession, one still has it and will most likely never let it go and the other had a copy in the past and was able to provide pictures confirming so, but privately sold it for an atrocious amount of money only to have it get lost in the postal system. Sigh, what a waste.

The truth is that it has never been released. They pressed the 'original' inlay but they were blocked before going into market.

So the band was giving the censored cover for free at the gigs, with the opportunity to the people to remove the 'crappy' new cover and exchange it with the original one.
You can see on ebay some auctions offering front covers only, mainly from UK (where the band mostly played at the time) ... but almost never disk+cover.

Ok now you are all free (and thanx to youknowwhoyouare for the info)

Hereby the confirmation it has been pressed in a few quantities by Roadrunner. It never came for sale. I am the lucky owner of this CD-s, and cannot imaging I ever will find another one.
