Wow, another one! I'll surely love it. Could it be a tiny little bit too early or is it Mother's day related?

Anyhow, there is RABBIT - Too Much Rock'n'Roll in here and catering reads kinda delicious.

Yeah, i'm early, but whether it's 'too early' i'll leave up to you. I got it completed quicker than i expected so thought why don't i just put it up right now? Can't guarantee that i'll ever manage to be so punctual ever again though.
Glad you appreciated the tasty spread at catering, that was the 'fuel' that got me through this time around.
Rabbit was a good spot BTW, (and well done on getting one identified before Khnud mops up the lion's share), i'm sure you'll hear a few others you know before the ep's done. Happy listening

No. 1 sounds like an excerpt from In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida from Iron Butterfly.

1st song is Blue Phantom "Diodo" off the Distortions album 1971.

I'm guessing track four is from the NWOBHM era, it seems very familiar but I could not place it.

The intermission song is

GRYPHON - The Unquiet Grave off their 1973 debut.

Magnificent...

Nicely done fellas, those weren't easy ones to get. It's surprising how often it's the non or at least not-strictly-Metal tracks that get identified first. Is this just a Corro-phenomenon or are all Metalheads secretly well versed in Medieval/Prog/Psych crossover, Italian exploito-psych & 70's down under Punk? :D Here's an updated tracklist. Only 11 remain...

01. Baltik - Leslie Briggs (Cult Of The Underdog Theme) (from the 'Baltik' LP (1973))
02. Blue Phantom - Diodo (from the 'Distortions' LP (1970))
03.
04.
05. Rabbit - Too Much Rock 'n' Roll (Album Version) (from the 'Too Much Rock 'n' Roll' LP (1976))
06.
07.
08.
09.
10.
11. Gryphon - The Unquiet Grave (from the 'Gryphon' LP (1973))
12. Alice Cooper - Long Way To Go (from the 'Love It To Death' LP (1971))
13.
14.
15.
16. The Victims - Television Addict (from the 'Television Addict' 7" (1977))
17.

How did you correctly figure out that they were Canadian rather than French?

I absolutely hear that too, but with the main riff from Cream's 'Sunshine Of Your Love' stirred in for added flavour. Sounds tailor-made to soundtrack the obscene gyrations of nubile ladies in little gold shorts & white PVC boots dancing in cages. :D

Yup, you're absolutely right, UK NWOBHM. Used to be ultra-obscure but has been re-released in recent years.

Agreed, & it's likely the only time you'll hear the crumphorn featured on an episide of COTU. :D

I speak french. I am living in the french part of Switzerland since 35years. The accent of the singer is huge (and funny)!
I don't know if you know the Thrash Band ANONYMUS. If i listen to them i always have a big smile in my face! :D Just because of the accènt!

Ah, i see. I didn't think there would be that much difference in accent/pronunciation that it would be obvious between French-Canadian & French when it is sung, but apparently my assumption was way off-base. Certainly never dreamt it would be so different as to be amusing. Makes perfect sense now i properly think about it, as i can usually tell when someone is singing in English but is perhaps Spanish or Swedish for instance, and particularly if they're German as that just hits my ear so strangely that it can often sound comical.

I certainly will not protest, if they appear again. In "my" prog era (1998-2002) GRYPHON were one of the essentials and Brian Gulland was a hero. Red Queen To Gryphon Three is still one of my favourite records. Actually I was so much into it that I wanted to buy "damn" thing.

I think track no. 3 is

STEPMOTHERS - All Systems Go

Aww, f..k, man this is 33 seconds of pure genius!

Edit: second track prior intermission, there is

RAIN - Me And My Woman

I haven't even heard it first two rounds around.

awesome...

Nicely done Nenad, the job's halfway done so I've updated things accordingly. Funny it was all the 70s songs identified first:

01. Baltik - Leslie Briggs (Cult Of The Underdog Theme) (from the 'Baltik' LP (1973))
02. Blue Phantom - Diodo (from the 'Distortions' LP (1970))
03. Stepmothers - All Systems Go (from the 'All Systems Go' 12" EP (1981))
04.
05. Rabbit - Too Much Rock 'n' Roll (Album Version) (from the 'Too Much Rock 'n' Roll' LP (1976))
06.
07. Corbeau - Quelle Sorte d'Amour (from the 'Fou' LP (1981))
08.
09. Rain - Me & My Woman (from the '1971...The Lost Album' LP (1971))
10.
17.
