New single from Neptune - Last man standing

The song "Last Man Standing" is our second single from the upcoming album. Last man standing is probably the song from “Northern Steel” that flirts most with our older material. If you are a true listener to Neptunes older material, you might hear influences from songs like Protector, Enemies and Burglary Man. On the album, have we invited several of our friends to participate. On "Last Man Standing" you will find Stephen Carlson - (Brotthogg, The Rise) on solo guitar. :D

Everyone and his doG can whine about the "modern" production and other petty details (please don't!) but man this song is a real Hit and I'm ever so glad to hear new material from an Olde Forgotten Band that not only did not suck, but were at least as great as the old stuff. Yet another reason for longing for the end of The Plague so we can catch you guys live :D

Thanks Dan, honestly, it's tough to stick your cheek once again after 35 years, in some minds you have a lot to live up to. Believe me, none of us in the band have been locked in the closet all this time even though we sometimes wish that were the case. :D Throughout this long time, we have been inspired by new music and production which affects us in one or another way... what you hear is Neptune 2020. Our idea (well, we actually had one) is to try to find a way to go from 1985 to 2020 without losing too many along the way and maybe find some new listeners along the way as well. That's what the Northern Steel record is supposed to do ... we'll see.
We really hopes this pandemic will go away soon because we reeeeally want to walk the stage again... sooner then later
