Come on, it's Sir-Mix-A-Lot with Metal Church playing Iron Man, it doesn't get any better!

As much as I usually despise "experimentation" and joking-about with The Classics, this was brilliant. Fantastic handiwork and it actually WORKS.

The Marley/Motörhead clip... It's well done, but Marley/reggae is my ultimate pet peeve, so No.

Sir-Rap-a-mix... No. (...but I can't help thinking what's worse, this or "I'm The Man"?)

Shouldn't the thread title be "Great mashup tracks" btw?

Yes my idea too about the Slayer/Edwin Starr...he would make a great metal vocalist.
I especially like the music with the dancing at 2.09..

I don't like reggae (no, I don't love it too) but it's indeed nicely done.
Sir Mix A lot...never heard of before..and this will be the only song i will know, despite Metal Church playing Iron Man :D

Dan: you may indeed change the title to "mashups" as with it is called as i don't know how to change the title.

This has been going on for years now, the genre is known as Mashup'.
I admit i've become quite fond of several of these bastardizations, plainly a lot of skill required in putting them together & often the results are pretty humourous. Loads of good Metallic examples out there, some of the best being on the free DJ SCHMOLLI Mash-Up EP called 'Slayed, Chopped And Recycled : A Bastard Pop Tribute To Slayer' which you can d/l here:
https://djschmolli.com/slayed-chopped-and-recycled-ep/

There's a rather nifty Various Artists Maiden Mashup album called 'Number Of Da Boots' which you can d/l here:
https://www.mashuptown.com/number_of_da ... album.html

Also well worth checking out are examples by DJ CUMMERBUND & the excellent WAX AUDIO.

You can enjoy it for what it is or get bent out of shape about it, but it's not meant to be taken too seriously. One man's sacrilege is merely another's humorous diversion. I've still got my fingers crossed that someone may someday see fit to cross-pollinate Cirith Ungol with Funkadelic, i can imagine that combo working well together for some reason.
