Hello Friends,

we are proud to announce another great newcomer for KEEP IT TRUE 2014.
RANGER is a pounding HEAVY METAL four-piece-unit from Helsinki. This band splits skulls with the sheer power of their riffs and takes no prisoners when it comes to live action. Call it heavy metal, thrash metal or speed, they got it all on their relentless assault on your ears. This music is based on the very essence that makes HEAVY METAL music so powerful: A vocalist that sounds like a banshee on the attack, double guitar action that sends shivers down your spine and drums hammering away like a freight train on the loose Proven their energy at their shows, RANGER is ready to unleash their first vinyl effort entitled ‘Knights of Darkness’ on Ektro records in September of 2013 after selling over thousand tapes worldwide. Amped up with high voltage energy this band is always looking for the next city to leave in ruins. The Knights of Darkness are on the march and there’s no escape.

Hello Friends,

we are extremely proud that we can announce the big Saturday headliner for KEEP IT TRUE 2014.

Thrash Metal legends DARK ANGEL will play their very first show with original singer Don Doty at KIT 2014. Also in the line up are Eric Meyer (guit.), Mike Gonzalez (bass) and Justin Zych (guit.). The drummer is not confirmed yet, but will be announced very soon. Looks like it will be a famous person from Dark Angel history, too.

With “Darkness Descends” DARK ANGEL recorded a milestone in Thrash Metal and at KIT you will see AT LEAST three musicians from that record performing. It will be legendary!!

Why is the drummer not confirmed though?

Has Hoglan become too "important"?

Hoglan wants to do it but we still wait for his schedule, cause he is doing this for hs living. But I am positive he will be behind the drums.

That was some mod on metal archives spreading hearsay.

Unless it's announced by Oliver then it's bullshit in my eyes.

we are pleased to announce another fantastic band for KEEP IT TRUE 2014.

American technical Speed Metal legends TOXIK will perform finally in Lauda-Koenigshofen. Their albums “World Circus” and “Think This” are highlights of the genre and undying classics. The band will consist of original members Josh Christian (guit.) and Mike Sanders (Voc.) plus Ralph Santolla (Iced Earth, Obituary, Deicide) on guitar and Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall) on drums.

Toxik will hopefully be one of the absolute highlights. I'm a big fan of both albums. Will Brian Bonini be playing bass for the event?

18 bands so far 11 of which are American.

Don't care much for Toxik or Dark Angel myself but Atlantean Kodex, Jag Panzer, Lethal, Hexx, Masque and Warrior makes it worthwile for me. I just hope Atlantean Kodex gets a decent amount of playing time. I mean, I'm sure Lethal for example will be higher on the bill, bute even so 45 minutes would be enough for Lethal. For Atlantean Kodex even 60 minutes would feel a bit short.
