Another great confirmation!

Are there any chances to see HEXENHAUS? (as they seem to be reformed now).

Looking good, as previous years! I haven't been to KIT previously though, but I'm probably going to get tickets very soon. Do you have to register beforehand to use the campground or do you just show up with your tent? Also, what's the best way to get there without a car?

i went to the first KIT installments by train, and i think the best way is to get a train connection to Wuerzburg whatever city/airport you're coming from , then change for Lauda, get off at Lauda and get a taxi to Koenigshofen. If anyone by now knows of a better/faster/cheaper way by now please also let me know?
I am so true my mp3 player's screen has slight ringwear

Hi Friends,

we have great news concerning our Warm Up Party on April 24th 2014 for KIT 2014. Since we always had old school metal DJ Thorsten Hepp warming you up, we now can announce, that ADDITIONALLY two bands will perform live there. It will be local youngsters RECKLESS ATTEMPT, a very young band from Tauberbischofsheim, who mainly do old school Metallica and Motörhead coversongs on their set. They are very enthusiastic and metal runs through their veins already, so we decided to give them the chance.
The other band will be Greek Cirith Ungol cover band FINGER OF SCORN with our good friend Manolis Karazeris (Dexter Ward/ex-Battleroar), who will play their very first German show for us. There is really no better way to warm up for KIT than with some great Cirith Ungol epics live.
But the best is: ADMISSION WILL STILL BE FREE!! It Is a gift from us for your ongoing support for the festival and the trust you give us..THANK YOU!! We will try to keep it that way in the future with newcomers, etc. Hope you will like it.
Finally we can tell you, that we are almost sold out now and the very few remaining tickets are available here:

Hello Friends,

as promised we can reveal the next band for KEEP IT TRUE 2014.

We are happy to present you the return of NWOBHM legends VARDIS after 27 years. The line up will be Steve Zodiac, Gary Pearson and Terry Horbury. VARDIS was one of the most influential bands of the scene back then and they had a huge impact on the growing US scene with bands like Metallica or Slayer. They were also known for their powerful live shows and will be another highlight for KIT 2014

Also with great pride we can announce that KEEP IT TRUE 17 festival in 2014 is completely SOLD OUT. We are totally blown away by your trust and faith in us. When we started the festival almost exactly ten years ago on July 19th. 2003 we could never think in our wildest dreams that we will reach that level ever. This is mainly because YOU supported us also in difficult times (volcano eruption at KIT 2010) and so built a perfect community that cannot be redone elsewhere. We can only try to keep the level of the festival as high as it is now and present you some cool surprises from time to time…LONG LIVE THE UNDERGROUND!!

So here is the billing so far:

KEEP IT TRUE 17

JAG PANZER (USA)
(Special Early Days Show for the first time in Europe with Joey Tafolla)
FLOTSAM & JETSAM (USA)
(Exclusive “No Place For The Deceiver” Show)

ATLANTEAN KODEX (GER)
PERSIAN RISK (UK)
DECEASED (USA)
IRON CROSS (USA)
