Metal Mind rereleasing STEEL VENGEANCE

Post by Stormspell »

Even though I want to buy copies for my own collection. I cringe at the new artwork...

Image

Replacing Larnoy with this photoshoped thing totally baffles me... Metal Mind must be out of their MIND (pun intended!)

Is this actually coming out as a physical release? I remember that image being posted on the official Steel Vengeance website regarding the itunes downloads. If so, this is kind of an abomination as the original artwork is pretty iconic.

It sez remastered digipack cds, so I assume it is the usual Metal Mind type of release

It is coming out as physical CD's. All of them sport new artwork which in my mind is a horrible horrible waste. But they are coming out in the usual Metal Mind fashion. Their last re-releases were a major step-up from their first batch so those might turn out okay as far as sound and booklet goes.

Eric Larnoy's bones are cringing.

The left- and right-side dogs are also just mirror-images of each other :D

Horrible cover artwork which I still think is justified... now for the first time Steel Vengeance's music gets the artwork it deserves. :)

Metal Mind = digipacks = off limits for me anyway.

But the cover artwork is really hilarious

Looks like boots indeed...

What worries me is that they seem to be available here:

Those indeed boots.

As for Tim and Shadow Kingdom - shame.

We should ask him where he got those, and we will probably know who made them :o

Really great syncronism uh ? Legal actions could be taken ...

I don't hold them in very high regard either, Prisoners is a pretty good album though.

Having Call of the Dogs LP for sale. Don't like it that much apart from 1 or 2 songs. Eric Larnoy artwork rules though. Photoshop covers are always crap and I try to avoid them as much as possible.
