Hi friends,

Finally we can announce more bands for our seventh HAMMER OF DOOM Festival.
Like last year the festival will be divided into the Epic Friday and the Doom Saturday.

British Metal Legends DEMON will coheadline the Friday. They will play one of their rare liveshows and everybody who has seen the band live before knows that they are a killer live act. Do not miss them there.

Also we were to book a real cult act from the UK. DESOLATION ANGELS will play their very first German show at the Hammer Of Doom Friday.

Also there will be an aftershow band in the club “Immerhin”. This time we were able to get the amazing MERCYFUL DIAMOND, a great MERCYFUL FATE/KING DIAMOND coverband from Denmark. They will play directly after the Friday headliner in the club “Immerhin”, which is also located in the Posthalle.

Unfortunately ROSS THE BOSS had to cancel his show at HOD 7 due to scheduling conflicts. Now DEMON will be the headliner of the EPIC FRIDAY and we were able to book legendary Epic Metal band EXXPLORER as the replacement. They will play a full coheadlining show. www.exxplorer.net

The downside of this is that Solstice, Desolation Angels and Wrathblade will never turn up at KIT.

I guess Sanctuary and Heir Apparent are also off limits after playing some other festival too.

We got amazing news for HAMMER OF DOOM 7 Festival:

PENTAGRAM will perform its classic album, "Relentless" in its entirety for the first time since the early 1980s at Germanys HAMMER OF DOOM festival. PENTAGRAM will also play other beloved songs spanning the group's career, including tracks from their most recent album, "Last Rites".

Also we have another addition to the Saturday billing: HORISONT from Sweden were totally convincing on their support tour for Graveyard and are a great new band for Hammer Of Doom 7. Everybody into old BLACK SABBATH and THIN LIZZY should check out these guys from Scandinavia.

Unfortunately EXXPLORER had to cancel their show at the HAMMER OF DOOM friday due to reasons beyond our control. We really worked hard to get a great replacement and so we were able to book not only one, but two replacement bands for Exxplorer.
The first one will be the legendary epic metal masters of DARK QUARTERER from Italy. They will play a VERY special show performing their self titled first
album for the first time in Germany. Do not miss classic epic metal tracks like "Red Hot Gloves" or "Colossus Of Argil".

The other amazing band we were able to get are recently reunited DARK AT DAWN from Germany. Their first album "Baneful Skies" is still till today one of the best underground metal releases from Germany. The band always had a unique style mixing elements from Epic Metal, US Metal and Dark Metal. They will perform in their original line up.
