Italy’s traditional heavy metal warriors SIGN OF THE JACKAL first gained praise with the release of their debut single, Haunted House Tapes. Gearing up for a busy 2011, SIGN OF THE JACKAL have returned with The Beyond, a limited edition five track Maxi EP to be released in advance of the band’s appearance at Germany’s KEEP IT TRUE festival alongside label mates ENFORCER and VEKTOR in April. A collection of rare studio tracks and obscure cover versions for die-hard heavy metal maniacs, The Beyond will be released in a limited edition of 2000 CDs and 500 vinyl MLPs on March 8th in the USA and March 14th in Europe. Vinyl version also includes an exclusive bonus sixth track.
SIGN OF THE JACKAL’s female fronted melodic metal attack fuses influences from classic Italian horror films from legends such as Lucio Fulci, Mario Bava and Dario Argento with pure heavy metal for fans of Warlock, Doro, Iron Maiden, Acid, Bitch and Blacklace.
