Haven't been there since 2003. I just checked the line-up and didn't get that excited (same old same old..), so it doesn't look like I'll make a return this year either. Imo you get more for your time & money at KIT and HOA.

I won't attend Wacken neither.
This year, I'll attend Keep it True Fest, the Hellfest and the With Full Force fest.

I'll be attending KIT too but in my opinion the line of for HOA is weak this year.
I've been searching for a summer festival with a good line-up but I haven't really found one that caught my attention. Since a lot of people I know will be attending Wacken I might end up there too. Never been there, the size of the festival always held me back.

I've never been to WOA, but seeing AVENGER and HOLLOW GROUND this summer would slay. Trouble is I'll probably ruin myself at the KIT Metal Markt and won't even afford bus tickets to the nearest beach until Xmas

The ticket is reserved, the accreditation is here, now I just need to get a heavy summer job to earn enough for Wacken beers and Metal Market

Lots of crap, but overall better band billing than the previous year! Here's what I'm looking forward to see!

Blind Guardian, Destruction, Grave Digger, Municipal Waste, Possessed, Rage, SACRED FUCKIN' REICH, Saxon, Sodom; and then probably some stuff like Amorphis, Falconer, Iced Earth, Communic, Cannibal Corpse, Type O Negative, Napalm Death, Blitzkrieg, ... See you there, Fucking Amal!

Well I decided to go to Wacken with some friends of mine. Sabbat, Overkill, Possessed tribute band, Sodom, Saxon, Immortal and some more made me do it.
