27/05/2010:

I’m very proud to announce that these new releases are now in the pipeline:

1° MORBUS CHRON (Swe.) pre-album 7”: This 7” will be release 2 months prior to the release of the band’s first album on Pulverized Records. This 7” Ep will most likely be released at the Kill Town Death Fest

2° STENCH OF DECAY (Fin.) first full length 12”: After a stellar demo and a 7” which will be released within the next month, 2011 will see the release of the band’s first full length effort.

3° SWALLOWED (Fin.) first full length 12”: No need to say that their recent 7” was truly impressive. I’m sure the future will be even better. Release: 2011

4° MIASMAL (Swe.) first full length 12”: Now that the band’s first 7” Ep has confirmed the abilities of those D-Beat Death Metal freaks, the band is working on a first full length album. Release: 2011

NB : 1°, 2°, 3° and 4 will be released in collaboration with Me Saco Un Ojo Records (UK)

NB’: Cd version of 2° and 4° will be released by Dark Descent Records (USA)

Late last year VETERNUS announced its existence with the demo tape, "Perpetual Insanity". Barring the fact that there are two pressings of the demo, copies are scarce. Nevertheless, they did well enough to attract attention from Detest Records, one of the youngest, and best, labels for Death Metal today. Continuing where they left off on "Perpetual Insanity", VETERNUS improve on their dark brand of Death Metal with mid-paced riffs, crushing drums, and haunting vocal patterns not unlike the sort pioneered by bands such as OBSCURITY. The guitars wail like tormented banshees, reminding one, perhaps, of Trey Azagthoth in his younger days. Interestingly, VETERNUS' drummer, P. Possessed is the same P. who drummed for LAMENTATION before they split up. Those of you who had the privilege of hearing LAMENTATION should know how capable he is for this kind of music, and he does indeed do a great job on this newest VETERNUS single. Here's a bit of an irregularity: a Swedish band that would rather not sound so Swedish. Like many of the new, young Death Metal bands from Sweden, GRAVEHAMMER writes music without geography in mind. In some places they sound rather like OBSCURITY - a Swedish band, but one that didn't sound remotely like any other Swedish band before or since, and would prove to be a global influence on the Metal world. The vast majority of the songs takes after the Americans more than anything else, particularly early MORBID ANGEL and NECROVORE. Breaking news: ENTRAPMENT first demo tape will be available as from this week. I'll post pictures here tomorrow.

A small run of MIASMAL - S/T Demo on tape will be available at that moment as well.

The first 500 copies of GRAVEHAMMER 7" are now gone. Therefore I've just received another batch of 400 copies which look EXACTLY the same that the first run!

MIASMAL 7" will be back in stock this week as well.

Talking about MIASMAL, I remind you that they'll play at the upcoming Nuclear War Now! Fest in Berlin in November.

I will attend Kill Town Death Fest in Copenhagen in September with a stall. At this occasion, I'll release 3 new 7": MORBUS CHRON, VETERNUS and ... surprise! Do not worry, none of these releases will be sold out after the fest! I will also have MIASMAL, KRYPTS, etc. shirts for sale.

In August, I'll conduct a sales action. A large bunch of items will be available for cheap prices. Stay tuned!

Finally, I'll be able to offer lower shipping rates soon thanx to a deal I've

I wish to inform you that I've just received a large bunch of copies of the new issue of Mystical Music Zine. This 15th issue is nothing but outstanding with interviews of DISMEMBER, GRAVE, EDGE OF SANITY, PUNGENT STENCH, GRAVE MIASMA, REPUGNANT, STENCH OF DECAY, MASSACRE and so on! The zine comes with a cd sampler featuring among others NOMINON, HORRENDOUS, GRAVE MIASMA and DESULTORY + an A3 poster!

My advice to you is: GET IT ASAP!!!

I also wish to inform you that the long awaited UTUMNO comp Cd is here! It features both the Ep and the single! The Cd comes with a thick booklet full of lines notes. Same advice than for the mystical zine of course ...

MORBUS CHRON 7", VETERNUS 7" and DEVOURMENT 7" will be ready soon. Please don't ask for pre-orders, there will be enough copies!

ENTRAPMENT demo tapes is temporarly out of stock since the 350 first copies moved faster than I expected. A repress is in the work.

MIASMAL 7" is now sold out from me.

STENCH OF DECAY 7" and KRYPTS 7" will go to press at the end of September. Both releases promise to be truly outstanding!
