Mausoleum Gate - Finnish old-school Heavy Metal

Post by Noisehunter »

Time to put the stones rolling for this cool new band from Kuopio, Finland.

Mausoleum Gate have just released their 1st demo including 3 songs from more rocking stuff all the way to more epic nwobhm spirited Heavy Metal. Another one of more rocking tunes, Grin of the Devil, is listenable at their myspace site.

For a few Euros you'll get a factory printed demo disc with very nice cover art painted by a real artist just like back in the day.

P.S. All contacts to their myspace or the e-mail addy above. I'm just posting this to support the guys.

Haha, you stole the intro from Forbidden Forest game for Commodore C=64! (The sound effect when you kill the ghost at the end of the game)

Now that's great old school and I shall order that demo because of it! Cheers!

Heh, wasn't aware of such, but knowing at least Wicked Ischanius is into old computer games I'm not that surprised hehe. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music as well ;)
As said, I'm not part of the band, but just a friend spreading the name a bit. Myspace is held by the band members themselves just like the e-mail contact above.

That's the spirit!
Saw you're were wondering where to see the cover art, so I linked it from Metal-Archives. Isn't it just damn killer! Some local film freak painted it not too long ago for this demo release exclusively.

Convincing song, i like it, only the chorus could be better done maybe, but otherwise quite excellent!

You guys rule! MG guys must be surprised for how much plays the tracks has got today and seeing them online every now and then, I believe some demos have been ordered too. They have no idea of this support campaign I started today haha.

Hey, and please spread the word on. All Heavy Metal maniacs don't follow forums ;)
