BBTAD NEWS DUST 008 MAX PLANCK KILL THE PAIN LP

Post by Buried By Time and Dust »

Formed in Port Townsend Washington in the early eighties Max Planck gigged extensively throughout the midwest and released one fuckin amazing demo in February 1985. The eight tracks contained therein are an amazing example of true underground heavy metal spirit and indivuality. Totally original but for those that need reference points lets say Manilla Road,Cirith Ungol and occasionally Rod Freeman's vocals even recall the vocal insanity of Hell's Dave Halliday.

The package will of course be on black vinyl and include a booklet packed with pix, zine articles, bio, original artwork etc...and extra tracks

Like all true metal this is for the pure of heart. We are proud to make this available as it originally should have been nearly 25 years ago reminding us what we already know. Heavy Metal Rules and Crank the Planck!

Russ, I could smooch you where you stand (in a purely platonic, respectful and manly way of course..)

The rerelease of the century. I'll stock up with several copies of course. Let us know asap when you're taking orders.

Great! Will there be a CD version as well, or just LP?

This is fantastic news. Was so disappointed when it didn't come off earlier. And the packaging will be as great as all the BBTAD releases? Hooray!

Heyah, you made my day!

Do you already know if that LP will be available through High Roller Records here in Germany?
Where were you in '79 when the dam began to burst

Wasn't this supposed to be re-issued on CD by another label?

What happened?

They heard Avenger wanted it on CD so they cancelled it and now it's LP only.

I don't like all their songs, and overall the 'mood' is not what I always hope for from really underground obscurities, but then again hardly any bands live up to those wants I have, anyway, this will be a cool release and I'll buy it.
