I think Pero Defformero is musically one of the best bands of today...
In 98 they recorded 5 songs with a "normal" singer (vocalist from the band Tornado), but this demo was never released as the band did not like the vocals. Here is a link for that recording. Imo one of the best recordings from the late 90s!

You have to understand the mentality over there. This Chalga music is HUGE on the Balkans. Multi-million business with mega-stars filling stadiums. I'm pretty sure in 98 Pero Defformero would have problems filling even the smallest hole-in-the-wall underground club, whereas today they draw huge crowds.

P.S. Recently Pero Defformero opened for Kultur Shock in Sofia. Initially the concert was scheduled to be in a venue with 850 capacity, but when Pero got added, tickets sold out so fast it was moved to a 5000 venue (which also sold out).
