PENTAGRAM - "From Psych To Doom" LP? (box?)

Post by DaN »

I just saw a picture of this new Pentathing. Googling the title only lead to a thread at Hellride, which gave me the impression it's some sort of bootleg box-set. Who's in the know?

If it's posted on Hellride, it's not likely to be a bootleg. People on that forum tend to discuss releases not even close to being released yet.

Bobby's mum even posted there a few years ago! Unless it was a hoax, I guess.

I've never heard of it, other than on that list on Hellride. the seller is an infamous bootlegger of US doom, so I'm pretty sure it's nothing official. and it can't be all that new as the thread is pretty old.

OK. It would be interesting to know what's on it. Exclusive recordings or just same-old, same-old? Bootleg or not, I'm a bit of an LP-completist when it comes to PENTAGRAM, as long as there's some exclusive material on the album in question.

From browsing around on the site I had the sneaking suspicion it was him. They should remove the bastard from existence.

And if there is some unknown material on it, it's probably some already known song renamed and fucked around with.

with regard to Dan's original question: I think this is probably most likely. and before supporting someone like him I'd rather bet on the general Pentagram mania to open the the vaults of people related to the band... but before they start going into the obscure stuff I'd rather see the first two reissued with the original vinyl mixes.

Recently read about some guy who had bought 14 CD-R's of Pentagram and related stuff from Levy for $30 a disc!

Well, others know more than I do, but he's one of the worst bootleggers out there. And he has taken advantage of Bobby Liebling at several points in the past. And his bootlegs are low quality. And he's a rotten thieving scoundrel. And he's scum.
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.
