Hi.
Looking at the colours of the booklet (front), tray (should be white where you put the cd) and the innerring (should be smaller), looks fake to me.

The first matrix pic looks pretty real as far as I can tell, the whole area is 'thinner' than most of the bootlegs I've seen. However if it's from the new generation of boots like that Merciless CD I cannot tell from any of these blurry photos

Sorry for the blurry photos. These were the best I could get.

I asked about this CD because I have not yet seen either the bootlegs of this or "Don't Break The Oath" and I wandered if there were any.

Anybody has more opinions on this?

I used to have this but it's been years, I think it was manufactured by JVC? If so it could be easily identified by those 'digital runes' in the matrix, those seem pretty damned difficult to fake.

I've also never seen a bootleg copy but it's been so long since I've looked for a copy of Melissa that I wouldn't have noticed if new ones came around, sorry.

I compared this time and time again to other copies of Melissa and I think this one is a bootleg (which means they out there).

What pushed me towards this opinion was the innerring - it should be clear and this one clearly is not. Plus the colors on the front booklet are slightly off to me (as mentioned previously).

Good that I did not buy this. Still searching for a FEMS CD copy of Melissa :)

I can't tell from those poor quality photos.

For curiosities sake though, why seek out the FEMS pressing of this?

I could not either but I looked at the innerring and it is supposed to be clear and is darker in shade than the usual ones.

As for your second question Avenger - just a personal preference towards FEMS pressings. I have several of those of different albums and I just like them for some reason. I am not hellbent on that but I prefer them. With Melissa it may be tough to get that pressing because I see them going for insane prices. I managed to get Don't Break The Oath for good price (with OBI) so I am hoping.

But I would gladly buy a Megaforce copy of this :)

Comparison, looks like the left has a (much) larger innerring.
