Thanks !
Yes, bootleg split CD of the LPs "It's Unheard Of" and "Kent Rocks"
Matrix is simply the album title.

This question is not for me because I am not really searching for these CD's at the moment but my collector friend is. So two questions:

1. As far as rare japanese releases - is japanrarehunter a legit guy? I know he shill-bids but is his stuff legit, non-bootleg releases? Or did somebody get bootlegs from him?
2. Any idea how to tell the japanese Nexus Heavy Load bootlegs apart from the real ones? Different matrix? Some differences in the OBI etc?

Concerning japanrarehunter , I'm pretty sure he does not sell fake Japanese cds. Personnally I prefer buying Japanese pressings from Japan because the condition is rarely overated. Beware of resurfaced cds though.

The false Japanese pressings of Heavy Load have titles as matrix so it's easy to distinguish them from the original. They don't have a transparent area around the hole too.

Thanks for the answer Shimrod. That helps a lot.

In other questions - does this look like an original Chrysalis pressing to you:

http://www.ebay.pl/itm/361360081156?_tr ... EBIDX%3AIT

I double checked and I think it a legit one. Granted there are bootlegs out of Russia of those Chrysalis Armored Saint titles (and boots of the japan pressings too I think) but this seems legit. Also does somebody know how to tell the recent Russian bootlegs apart?

First I highly doubt bootleggers to be able to reproduce those engraved writing on the plastic ring.

More generally, the Russian replicas look cheap and you can spot them quite easily.

You can also compare with this bootleg here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Armored-Saint-R ... 3ab02228fa

Here is another one : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Armored-Saint-D ... 3aafa79ce6

Did anyone buy Scald "Agyl's Saga"? Some two or three days after I got it the tray of CD1 simply detached from the digipack. I don't even want to know what kind of cheap glue it had been fastened with. And I hadn't even been hurling that or something. So my question is did it happen to anyone else?
Other than that, I have no reason to complain. I used to consider "Will of Gods..." as boring, but later I realized that can be at least a cool backgroung for fantasy novels reading. And the demo recordings to be found on CD2 are great too, although I can understand if someonfe finds them too amateurish.

Same here...
Apart from this, "Will of gods..." is of the few post 2000 classics. Demo is very good, too. Interesting audio document, as well.

(I won't be surprised if it has been askedabout before...)
Do you know if this edition of "Time of Changes":

http://www.discogs.com/Blitzkrieg-A-Tim ... se/4130310

has any Matrix number?

My own copy looks to fit the description in the link above and the Matrix signature is CMUCD 008. And I reallly don't know what to make of it...

Probably a bootleg, Teichiku releases usually have TECP-XXXX or TECX-XXXX kind of matrix.

Post a picture if you can.
