Can someone tell me what the IFPI stands for on some CD's??

Is this a later pressing prefix?

IFPI represents the recording industry worldwide, and as far as i know, they formed in 1997. if it is correct, it means the CD was pressed 1997 or later if it has IFPI code.

if the Malice CD has IFPI code, it just say the CD is reissue version.

Actually, all IFPI Codes have a series of 4 number/letter combinations after them.

The correct full length of the original matrix is: IFPI L276 AMCY-2982 1 * ** ********
