Seriously? For a CD that was originally released only 3 years ago?
One year ago i've seen another copy for 150$, and also a die-hard edition Cd (with bonus tape,...) for 220$. It is insane almost because it is an average album!

many cases of Death Metal / Thrash Metal, the original CD's value get more higher (at least not changed) when it is reissued. the only way to make their value get lower, is to let all of such maniacs buy the CD. after that, the value get lower.

New maniacs are entering the frame every month, so I don't think you can feed a CD to a small fixed group of people and then the price will fall down drastically...

one guy has been selling Grinder - Dawn For The Living original copies for a year now, he sold like 25 of them and they still go for at least 40-50€ every time!

Yeah, every time there is a re-issue, there is a counter movement. Only one I remember seen falling in ebay price after the re-issue is October Tide's debut cd. Don't know about vinyls though.

Someone got excited and thought he was buying the LP, I guess
nope. He bought it at $40. Then the seller changed the price. Ohio can't go wrong anyway
Apparently the recent one (ended at 23/06) was really sold for $1.000 !!???

Hmm, pretty sick. Got that one too and it's quite good death metal. I wonder what my cd collection is worth after seeing this kind of auctions.

It sold for a more "normal" price that time, I think one before that sold for around $450.

Lullacry http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0599192320

Ambeon http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0842381072

Lullacry used to be found for few bucks (most copies with 2 drill holes in the backcover though), Ambeon is totally mental as this copy is 1) not mint, and there's a pen writing 2) not even the original Transmission press (which isn't rare itself as there are several thousands of copies of it probably), but a brazilian one (?)
