Metal Blade "Metal Classics Series"

Post by Avenger »

Does anyone have a list of this rare CD series?

Released in 1990/1991.

I know of these so far:

Torch - S/T
Torch - Fireraiser
Jag Panzer - Ample Destruction
Nemesis - The Day Of Retribution
Hallows Eve - Tales Of Terror
Trouble - The Skull

The sound is ok, but all booklets are very poorly made in these CD series.

I was kind of hoping that the series would include more titles that were not released on CD format prior... :(

The OMEN, HALLOW'S EVE, HELSTAR etc CDs of those series were released in the mid 90s i think. The catalogue was printed with photos of the albums' front cover on the back cover (the side you see inside the jewel case), i don't remember any TORCH album on it. Is it the same series?

I have both "Fireraiser" and "Torch" on some cheapish Metal Blade pressings. I will check them out this evening.

This is a series released in '90/'91.

This is the logo that I'm looking for:

Wow, never saw that version of "Ample Destruction" before. Kinda like the cover actually.
