Does anyone know if the album "Defender Of The Crown" by Brocas Helm is also released on LP ?? It seems there is only a digipack cd...

It's supposed to come out on 2LP on a Greek label, but I forgot which one. Haven't heard any news on this front so I guess it hasn't happened yet. It's the album of the millennium so far for me.

It's a fantastic piece of steel. At the risk of sounding uber-kvlt I still like their first album the best (it had an "open" quality to the instrumentation and even some doomy stylings), but this one is just... madness. Amazing album, ESPECIALLY after so long.

Some bands broke up when metal ceased to be popular and then resurrected themselves (or, rather, reincarnated) to make SHITTY music. BROCAS HELM never disbanded, but marched on releasing amazing 7-inches and then unleashing this beast. Amazing.

These guys still look the same as well. It's funny how they pull like 1000 people in Greece but can't pack a small bar in SF. Bay Area metal scene is made up of surface skimmers and art metal fags.

Yeah man, Here in Vegas we have the doom in june festival thingie at a bar every year, last summer was Manilla Road and a bunch of the S.F. metal people were there all covered in Brocas Helm patches. Kids even.
