Same, just 2 are great. Iron Cross is nothing but average. I can listen to it though, but the OPM release will do it for sure for me by that vinyl price. There are for sure better Thrash vinyls around. Go for Master Fury ...

I wouldn't call iron cross a thrash metal album at all, to me all 8 tracks are 80s heavy/power metal. Only the opening track plays with the thrash genre a little bit without being fast at all. But everyone sees things different luckily. One of my fave US metal records
edit: it's a round glass ball you can put a candle inside or just have there for the looks, haha.

Ok, let's call Iron Cross Power/Thrash then. Heavy/Power Metal is too soft.
On the re-release the songs are though more thrashier ... but still not eaxactly high developed steel creations. Listenable for sure but if you put up a let's say Powerlord as comparison it's quite "lame".
I hope someone will pull out a secret Florida H.A.V.O.C. testpressing LP out of nothing instead ...

I love everything Dirty Rocker has posted on the last 2 pages. Outstanding stuff and tremendous high metal nerd factor. Rules. HAIL!

My new goal is to upload a picture of 3 rare records where Prowler likes all of them. (All have different taste and I respect that - I'm not trying to get at you Prowler!)

Agree. They're not even the best Iron Cross from America....Prowler wrote:No!ION BRITTON wrote:One of greatest HEAVY metal albums EVER.Prowler wrote:Iron Cross is nothing but average. No fuckin' problem with that. Just put up on the same pic:Dirty Rocker wrote:My new goal is to upload a picture of 3 rare records where Prowler likes all of them. (All have different taste and I respect that - I'm not trying to get at you Prowler!)
Messiah - Final warning
Metallica - Master of puppets
Graven Image - Warn the children (I like this a bit more than the first EP)
Razor - Armed & dangerous
Dissection - Final Genocide
and I swear I'll praise them all!
And where should there now be place for an Iron Cross left? It's not even amoung the top 50 of great US Metal albums ...

I've tried & tried again to get into Leather Nunn - it just won't happen. The poor job they did with the sound on that vinyl reissue didn't help…
I prefer "Church & State" Iron Cross.
Graven Image = best on image.
