Trenton City Murders EP Lyric Sheet - Does Anyone Have It???

Post by daniel »

In case there's someone out there who hasn't checked the other topic regarding this band.

With all the metal maniacs on here it should be highly probable that someone has a copy with lyric sheet, as the distribution of lyrics/no lyrics is supposed to be 50/50.

High quality scans or photos would be preferred, and also of any other photos, info etc.

THANKS

Why would you say 50/50?

This is what I know of this record.
Dream Records was a store in NJ. They released the record and it did not sell.

To recoup some of there loss they tried sending them in with there other (Cut Outs) to the 2 big warehouses in the USA.

Most of the copies I have seen came from these 2 places (Most of the copies in Collectors hands) came from these 2 warehouses.

At the LC Warehouse most copies had the Silver Logo Sticker and No Thank you's. Some had nothing at all.

At the Scoripo Warehouse the records all have Silver Stickers and Thanks stickers.

None of these had Lyrics.

The Question is Where did the Lyric sheet copies come from??

Wait, how many "Dream Records" were there?

There's the obvious french label, the German? one and another based out of New Jersey?

I was only saying 50/50 because that's what a seller said. Granted, upon inspection that seems overly optimistic seeing as the lyrics seem much rarer than that. Here's the auction:

I tried contacting the seller but no reply yet. Is there any way of contacting the winning bidder? Or does anyone know who it is?

Getting these lyrics mean an awful lot to me.

It wasn't that seller, but I found what I was referring to and I made a mistake, it wasn't quite like I thought, here:

"ORIGINAL COPY WITHOUT THE STICKERS (FRONT & BACK) & WITHOUT THE INSERT ( approximately 50% of the released copies came without stickers - insert, and the rest with stickers - insert)"

link

Sorry.

No Problem.
Just thought I was losing my mind.

I am sorry to say I have never seen a copy of that insert.
I have had around 100 copies of that record go through my hands over the years and I have never seen that.

My only guess is since it was autographed, Is that the band them selves made that and put in whatever copies they had. Which could not have been many.

CONTACT!

Ok, I was informed the lyric sheet was something you had to send away for, hence its rarity. The guy said he doesn't mind making a copy at all! So soon the mystery will be solved! :D

Cool, I guess all the mistakes in your lyric deciphering thread are now apparent and can finally be corrected.
