Current high bidder is user filwilsam. Seems to be a new guy on the block as he regsitered in Dec 09. He appears to have a LOT of available cash to spend i.e. $1035 on the Streetchild and over $1000 on the Amethyst.
Interesting, thanks for the info. If he can afford them, power to him.
Both are nice items I'd like to have, and I bid heavily on one of 'em, but I cannot spend $1,000+ on these records at this point in my life.
I did get a single today for $16, now that I can afford

Either that or it's an extra account from a well known dealer/collector. If I had a dollar for every person who has more than one ebay account I could easily afford both those items!

Could be. A/c is registered in Belgium. He/she is on a great run though. Seems any rarity of note comes up then he/she is the winner. I guess if I had thousands of spare EUR then I could spend it on many records. Good luck to him, except when it on an auction I want
Remember kids, only high priced rarities are true...
Huge collector from Japan. Often wins rare CD's and the like for high prices and always with private feedback.
He occasionally will auction some nice rare stuff at which point he has to change his feedback to public, so you can confirm some of his recent purchases.

I was all set to hit the buy it now button when I realised they are just selling the cover
What's the point?
It's a decent enough sleeve, the single does pop up without a sleeve quite often. If your patient and wait you could get this single for a fraction of the normal selling price.
I also nearly hit the BIN button. He's also got a stack of Black Axe sleeves without the vinyl 10+.
The sleeve wasn't in great condition; there's a grease stain on the back, sticker on the front, and obvious ring- and corner wear. I bid a little for it; would have gone much higher if the sleeve were cleaner. It also doesn't seem to sell as high as it used to, a phrase that's being added to a lot of nwobhm records lately. Not the big rarities of course, but many of the mid-level items have sold rather low recently. Maybe tax season has US bidders staying off ebay until after April 15?
