Sacred Blade - Demo questiön

Post by Prowler »

A couple of years ago, I bought a ton of Demo tapes from a usually trustful source, selling only original tapes (as far as I'm concearned). Among all those tapes there was also a quite obscure looking Demo of Sacred Blade, that I've never seen before at any website yet. Please see pictures below, it's either autographed by all 4 musicians. So the question is, was it an official Demo? It doesn't look like a newly made bootleg at all. It looks indeed "old". Anyone has seen this one before?

While most reviews from 83-84 mentions the 2 first demos having 3 songs each, this issue of Heavy Metal Massacre describes their second demo as a 2-song affair w/ those 2 exact titles: https://thecorroseum.org/fanzines/heavy ... cre-04.php
Perhaps "Alien" was left out on this version since it was appearing on Metal Massacre 4? In any case it's not unusual w/ different variations of demo tapes...

I bought this one and another Sacred Blade demo back in the early 90's at Hellion Records store but it's not an official one as far as I know.

Jürgen made/sold a lot of bootlegs at this time.

What???
I am soooo surprised reading this
And I thought other people based in Lichtenstein, or maybe Greece and Russia were behind some of those early 90s boots and NOT Hellion Records

Well, I knew of the Reborn Classics CD's being made by Hellion and he also printed lotsa inofficial shirts. But that he either manufactured illegal Demo tapes was something new... :?

Well I don't know if Jürgen made this Sacred Blade tapes.
I just bought them as I was in his shop, he sold them beside a lot of original demo tapes of other bands.
