What's that VOICES(?) thing? Looks nice..
The Sentinel wrote:"Destruction System" blew me away. Always thought it would be a lame late Testament sounding crap album
That's what I've been taken for granted as well. Will look into it now, cheers for the tip.

A private german Prog/Hard/Rock hybrid from 1984 that I was hunting for since 2 years. Always ending quite expensive. This time I had luck. :)
In places it sounds like Lake Placid but less heavy, then more proggy, but for german Hard Rock collectors definitely worth a listen. It's not so bad ...

Is KENTAURUS as bad as they make it out in the Metalpage review?

This is what I had to say in a private email I had on this subject yesterday:

"I love the cover of this record! diy hard rock, a bit proggish. Not the best, I've only heard it once so far. has a really 'innocent' sound in a way. I wanted this thing for a long time, maybe 20 years, used to see it hyped on set sale lists. It was always too expensive. Some guy had one on ebay I was watching recently, started at $10, thought I might get it for cheap and at last second it went to $90. I randomly rearched ebay for another and someone had a sealed BIN copy $40 so I went for it."

"I listened to Kentaurus again, it is about 1/2 good. Glad to have it but not essential."

If you are looking for that sound you will be happy to have it. But I can thing of a lot of other records in this niche that are much better.

reviewer on metalpage is our own beloved 'prowler' BTW.

Cheers for the Review. "innocent" is usually a buzzword for me, but I have the feeling this one is probably too soft for my tastes.

Ha, always wondered who that FutureSynner-character was...

I really didn't want to know about Prowler's "secret passion for centaurs".

I haven't posted anything in this thread in a while, so I've got to put the vinyl in a separate pic:
