Here's my recent finds, Both Sacred Blade and Blasfemia are reissues. Since OG presses are more expensive now than it used to be, I gotta settle with reissues and there are a few labels recently really do a killer job on keeping things as close to originals as much as possible!.
That Barnabas record is a solid rocker

Some fresh items from this and last month.
Re that Douglas release, i know i've seen that illustration they've used as the logo background before somewhere. Boris Vallejo popped into my head straight away, but i may be way off with that. I'm sure it features on at least one other record i've seen, possibly more than that. Anyone know what i'm thinking of?

Recently I picked up some good metal after a long break. I went overboard during the holidays but I manage to find good deals
- Sacred Child - S/T on Black Dragon - it's a good rocker HR/HM (features Neil Young's half sister on vocals)
- Sacrifice - Torment in Fire on Diabolic Force
- Exorcist - Nightmare Theatre on Cobra
- Mad Max - Rollin Thunder
- Baron Rojo - Larga Vida Al Rock N Roll on Chapa Discos
I also got hands on Warlord Cannons of Destruction on VHS from a acquaintance for a really good steal!

First year since I remember that I didn't add to my collection any item from my wantlist...
I guess discogs took almost all the fun away...People are nuts...
Already placed my first orders for the 2026... promising year with Enrico already hinted that Eternal Champion will finally get the vinyl treatment...
Another lonely night, another no name town
it starts to look the same, it starts to bring me down
so many promises you knew I'd never keep
I'll make it up to you, baby, don't give up on me
As of typing this I'm in Norway for a holiday and spent a week there. I managed to find a lot cool records there but my wallet isn't happy as I went overboard a little bit. I already packed up my records so no pics. Tomorrow, I will be leaving Norway and head to Sweden and Finland tomorrow.
Here's what I picked up:
Storm - Stille Før Stormen ("expensive" purchase)
TNT - S/T (I got it for cheap)
Glory Bell's Band - Dressed In Black (Got it also for cheap)
Hardline - S/T (Cheap find)
Deathhammer - Electric Warfare
Judas Priest - Secret's from The Vault (Bootleg comp)
Verity - Interrupted Journey (cheap find)
Front Page - Special Edition (Norwegian Punk got it for cheap)
My intention was to find Black Magic - Wizard's Spell and TnT - Knights of the New Thunder (Norwegian press) but have no luck. Maybe next time but I'm satisfied with my purchases
Will report with some new acquisitions when i arrive Finland and Sweden. My luggage will be full of Heavy Metal by the end of the trip haha

I am back in Canadian soil after two weeks in Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, and Finland) and I had a blast there! My luggage was full of HEAVY METAL by the end of the trip. Would definitely going back! Since I posted the Norway pick ups, here's what I got in Finland and Sweden
Finland (Bought mostly in Helsinki, hit most of the record stores there, feel free to message me if you plan to go there)
Beherit - Drawing Down the Moon (2019 reissue) (Bought it for €5)
Witchfynde - Stage Fright (HR Reissue) (Bought it for €5)
Blood Ceremony - The Old Ways Remain (Bought it for €5)
Ranger - Shock Skull (Bought it for a good price!)
Sweden (mostly in Stockholm, big skål to DaN for the record shop recommendations!)
Helvetet's Port - From Life
Magnus - Scarlet Slaugterer (2021 NWN Reissue)
Swedish Metal Aid on 7 inch and Gatefold 12
Grand Metal Live 5th Japan Heavy Metal Fantasy
Le Griffe - Breaking Strain
Endless Day - Trapped/Another Song
Tyton -Mind Over Metal
Europe -S/T (HOT Records)
So many records I wanted there but they're WAY more expensive than I thought of and some are difficult to find, also getting feared of getting maxxxed out on my card! I would say Finland and Sweden is one of the best countries I've been to shop vinyl along with Japan!!!
Until next time

Real cool to hear your Scandinavian HM Hunting-trip went well
Yeah, prices on HM classics aren't any better here than any other western country, but I think at least in Sweden, the local popularity of olde HM and HM vinyl collecting makes almost every store owner keep an extra eye out for this stuff ---> there's at least a solid stock to flip through in most stores...

I was trying to find the first two 220 Volt albums on every store, impossible! hahaha. Especially the modern ones like Century and Tyrann. Besides that, It was an great experience hunting for sure! If I only go to one country only, I would go overboard for sure like I did in Japan!
